My greatest Treasure!!!!


My greatest treasure is a chain of the Virgin of Guadalupe, my grandmother gave to me on a very special day for me, when I was fifteen years old. For me it is a treasure because my grandma gave to me it with all her love. My grandma is one of the most important person in my life. I will never sell or exchange because it is the greatest treasure that I have and a good memory from my grandmother!!!

Today is Monday !!!



Today in the morning I didn't want to wake up, I want to sleep more :S but I just took a shower then I had my breakfast. My daddy dropped me of at the college at 7:52 a.m. I was worried because I thought that I was late but thanks God I was on time :D. In the afternoon I came to my home just to sleep and I had my lunch around 4:00 p.m. After that I did my homework. Right now it is 10:40 I'm online talking with my friends from El Salvador :D

My favorite Season!!!!




My favorite season is summer . I have many reasons. One of them reason is that I can go to the beach , to the park or walk out with my family or friends. Another is I can dress comfortable. Also we can make barbecue with family and friends. For these reasons I love summer.

Traditional Food

Every country has its traditional food. In my country are Pupusas, it's ingredients principal are flour, water, cheese,beans and pork. It is prepared :
  1. In a large mixing bowl, gradually stir water into masa harina until dough forms a ball that can be handled.
  2. Into another bowl, empty the refried beans. Place the grated cheese into a separate bowl.
  3. Divide dough into about 25 pieces. Roll each into a ball and flatten between the palms of your hands to about 1/2-inch thick. Put a spoonful of beans and a small handful of cheese into the center of each pupusa. Flatten again with the filling inside.
Heat a heavy, wide-bottomed or flat skillet until hot. Brush with oil and cook pupusas on each side 4-5 minutes until a pale golden-brown. The outside should be firm.
I like this food because taste very good. If you try this food I'm sure that will like it. In this country there are many salvadorean restaurant where make it. Many people eat this food all the time also on special day.
